Himalaya International started in 1998 with an idea to utilize the growing agricultural and processing community in India to service North American food processors with products not easily available in the US. With that in mind, Himalaya International entered into an exclusive arrangement with Himalya International Ltd. to develop a 100% vertically integrated mushroom and vegetable growing operation. Our food processing lines are dedicated to creating and producing unique vegetables, dairy products, meals, soups, appetizers and desserts.

Himalaya International has utilized Himalya’s thirty one years of manufacturing and logistical experience to deliver quality products to markets all over the world. We have all the necessary licensing and inspections to export food products including, FDA registrations, C-TPAT registration, third party audits, Moody’s ISO certification, and all liability insurance that is required of any company that safely and sanitarily manufactures food products in the United States.

Our mushroom cultivating and processing facilities are adjacent, ensuring prompt processing after cultivation. This allows us to pick, process, individually quick freeze, and package within four hours of cultivation. You will taste that farm fresh taste in all of our finished products.

We are proud to announce that our new facilities will be on line by the first quarter of 2011, more than quadrupling our growing/processing capabilities. At that time we will have the largest and most state of the art food processing plant in India, employing more than 2,100 individuals, many who have been with us since 1979, are provided with a higher living wage, daily meals, a free medical clinic, and educational scholarships for their children
