foothills of India following the USDA’s National Organic Program Guidelines.
No chemicals or preservatives are used during growing, processing, or the transportation of our products.We strive to keep a low carbon footprint and zero waste policy by using eco friendly technology and recycling extensively at all times.
All of the runoff water used in growing our product is captured, filtered, and recycled. We are the first company in the world that has developed a technology to recycle the mushroom compost, turning it from an environmental hazard into a rich source of nutrients for our farming neighbors.
Our 800 employees, many who have been with us since 1979, are provided with a higher living wage, daily meals, a free medical clinic, and educational scholarships for their children.
